The Gorge is a collection of the songs played during Dave Matthews Band's three-night concert in 2002 at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.

This six-disc special edition features each song from all three nights. This release was only available web store and was not sold in stores.

Charles Speer & the Helix and Wooden Wand. Early in 2000, Three Lobed Recordings was born out of the notion that there needed to be a 10? EP included within Bardo Pond’s discography. Late in 2009, with the label’s looming tenth anniversary on the horizon, the label decided that it was time to take the curatorial enjoyment that resulted in its three multi-disc subscription CD series (Purposeful Availment, Modern Containment and Oscillation III) and transfer that spirit over to the vinyl format.

This double set collects the original US 10-track release, newly mastered in stereo, plus six extras and two tracks that only appeared on the UK edition. Disc two, containing the original mono UK version, feels redundant now, since the stereo mix unwraps the album’s full potential, making it sound far less conventionally poppy and highlighting delicate production flourishes. “Three Kingfishers”, for instance, is a crystal ball vision of Celtic myth and transfigured nature, abuzz with sitars and rattling with Indian percussion, nearly three years before the record it resembles, ISB’s Wee Tam And The Big Huge. “Guinevere”, meanwhile, is courtly Arthurian folk draped in a featherlight ermine of strings, arranged…
